Rosenstiel School Student Auction FAQs

The 2025 Rosenstiel School Student Auction will take place on Friday, April 11th, 2025. Doors will open at 5:00 PM EST.

The Rosenstiel School Student Auction raises money for the Rosenstiel School’s Student Travel Fund. This organization allocates funds for current graduate students at the Rosenstiel School of Marine, Atmospheric & Earth Science to travel outside of the Miami/South Florida area to complete their studies. Funds may go towards required travel for internships, participating in data collection and research projects, attending conferences and other career-advancing opportunities.

The auction will take place at the Rosenstiel School of Marine, Atmospheric & Earth Science in Miami, FL. The auction will be held at the Salt Waterfront Restaurant on the Rosenstiel School’s campus.

The Rosenstiel School Student Auction is an annual event that occurs every spring. The auction features multiple live auctions and a continuous silent auction. The Auction Committee is proud to partner with local businesses and entrepreneurs throughout the Miami community that support the Rosenstiel School’s commitment to the environment and education.

There will be two ticket sale sessions; Pre-Sale and Day-Of prices. Day-of tickets will be available for sale at the auction on Friday, April 11th, 2025. If you plan on purchasing a Day-Of Student Ticket, please bring your University of Miami student ID to the auction for proper confirmation.
